The Porsche Design watch line has changed several times over the years, modernising their look to keep up with trends and to match the sleek forms of the famous Stuttgart sportscar marque.

The “hollow-lug” 1919 line was created to celebrate the centenary of the Porsche brand in 2019 (actually launched a few years early in 2015...) The simple dials where a nod to the German ‘Bauhaus’ design ethos, using simple minimalist details to create a beautiful, functional whole.

This chronograph model from 2019 was acquired as part of a personal collection to showcase Porsche Design to fans of the brand within the “Fire & Time” gallery - Perth’s ultimate men’s shed/gallery/workshop in the northern suburbs. Now selling to fund further projects…
