Reference 14010M : a classic timepiece for the purist : one of the nicest, cleanest Rolex models of the era, 20 years ago.

This timepiece was purchased by the current owner in January 2007, after a couple of years at the retailer (very common back in the pre-Rolex-hype days!)

It was worn for several years as attested by the light scratches and small dings, but maintains a beautiful presence on the wrist. The sunburst dark blue dial and white gold hands/indexes create a perfect crisp contrast which catch the light beautifully. The watch has just been overhauled by a Rolex expert, and is now running with an impressive 280 degrees of amplitude and timing at +0 sec/day dial up ! Bracelet and watch head have been ultrasonically and manually cleaned respectively, and the machined bezel is stunning in direct light - especially in the sun !
